So It's Olympic fever and I've decided that my contribution will be my "asian" themed background with my name in Chinese. Mandarin, I believe, but I got the "chop" with my name on it a while ago, so it could be another dialect. I believe I got the chop originally in Taiwan. So there's a nice sense of irony to it too.
So I haven't been posting on my blog because I'm lazy. Or busy. Or both. But a blog that isn't updated sucks. So now I'm gonna worry less about spelling, worry less about content and worry more about just updating. So the best way to do that is keep it short and sweet and about things that I do and know about. Which isn't much. So welcome to Riffs with rules. This is where I play a little guitar (so I get some much needed practice!) and I also get to update my blog.
The concept behind "Riffs with Rules" is that I set up a rule that I adhere to in a little improv. The first one is easy: The riff must start and end with a pick slide - bringing it back to the 80s baby! BTW: I know it really should be "Improv with rules", but that just doesn't sound catchy. These aren't really riffs, but who cares - I got another blog update from it! Boom!
I ask everyone to boycott any Ann Coulter events, products, endorsements. The Republican party should ask her to stop her assault on candidates or remove her from the party. There's just no excuse.
